Marangu Route

The Marangu Route, also known as the “Coca-Cola Route,” is a popular path for climbing Mount Kilimanjaro, characterized by its hut accommodations and relatively gentle ascent. It’s known for being the oldest and most established route, offering dormitory-style huts instead of tents for overnight stays. While popular, it’s also the route with the lowest summit success rate, often attributed to the shorter itinerary and potential for inadequate acclimatization.
