Tour Overview

Nestled within its boundaries, Arusha National Park boasts the majestic presence of Mount Meru, rendering it one of Tanzania's more compact parks. Despite its smaller size, it stands out as an ideal destination for a day trip, particularly due to its convenient location near both Arusha and Moshi. This unique proximity sets it apart from other parks in the region, making it an excellent choice for those on a budget or constrained by time limitations. Rest assured, despite its size, the park offers an extraordinary array of wildlife and landscapes, ensuring a memorable and fulfilling experience that won't disappoint.

    TOUR ITINERARY

We will pick you up from your accommodation in Arusha (with the option of Moshi available for a small supplement) in the morning. Our journey to the entrance of Arusha National Park will take approximately 45 minutes to 1 hour. Today's adventure will be divided into two parts: a jeep safari and a walking safari. Yes, you heard that right! Arusha National Park is one of the few parks offering this unique option, and we highly recommend it for the opportunity it provides to get up close with the wildlife.
The timing for the walking safari will depend on the park's schedule, but it typically lasts around 4 hours. If you prefer to skip the walking safari, we can arrange a full-day game drive for you—simply inform us during your reservation process.
During your visit, you can expect to encounter a variety of wildlife including zebras, giraffes, baboons, buffalos, and colobus monkeys. With luck on our side, we may even catch sight of elephants or leopards. The park's landscapes are equally breathtaking, with highlights including the Momella lakes and the Ngurdoto crater. Along the lakeshores, you may witness the stunning sight of hundreds or even thousands of flamingos.
